The Arena swimwear company believes in getting people in the water – athletes developing their talent, champions heading toward the finish line, average and everyday swimmers doing their training. This is why they make athletic swimwear that has no rival. This is why they are event sponsors all over the world and support various clubs, federations, as well as athletes.

Everyone has their own reasons for being in water – exercising, witnessing great performances, surpassing personal records. Arena’s creator, Horst Dassler, was inspired by the great Mark Spitz. The 1972 Summer Olympics saw Spitz win 7 gold medals and set world records in each of those 7 events. In 1973, Dassler started Arena to make state-of-the-art athletic swimwear, recruiting top athletes to help him with design. The result was Skinfit, a super-light fabric made to fit the swimmer’s body like another layer of skin.

Today the Arena swimwear company is still sticking to that dream. They work with athletes, research centers, and universities all over to find out how to make swimmers faster and better. Their product line is constantly evolving. With their Powerskin X-Glide being named as one of the best inventions of the year by Time Magazine, and their Powerskin Carbon-Pro breaking new ground in swimsuit technology, they’re expanding their innovation to meet the needs of the swimming community.

Arena has made big strides in swimwear design for speed and performance underwater – improved swimming stability, body temperature regulation, reduced drag and friction, increased flotation, and more.

The human body is 60% water. The earth’s surface is two-thirds covered with water – rivers, lakes, oceans, glaciers, ice caps, ground moisture, and air vapor. We can’t survive without it. The human instinct to swim runs deep, from our ancestors thousands of years ago to now. Arena swimwear can help improve your swimming speed and performance, giving you the confidence to jump in the pool or make it to the finish line.
